I didn't wear high tops, even in the '80s. So I guess Gary's compensating for it in this comic.

Devan, however, once had a pair of shiny peach L.A. Gear high tops with double tongues that she thought were totally stylin'.

If this comic had a soundtrack, it would definitely be Michael Jackson.
